I am finding Teams useful, because it allows for conversations at different levels - particularly useful is being able to create groups and do voice and video calls in those channels, without needing any further setup.
This is useful for teachers, because it allows for ways to communicate privately, in groups or with the full class.
There has been excessive sending of emails; this morning when I logged in there were 48 new emails since I logged off 24 hours before. Teams allows a place for interactions with teachers where chains are not lost and emails are not needed. So it's useful for PLCs and teacher/class teams.
If the parents want to know what work the kids are doing, they email me, also swamping me with emails. I am able to respond and say please ask your child to show you what I said in the announcement channel in Teams.
It also has a great assignment function for sharing and marking assignments.
Overall I'm finding it to be a useful tool.
