Mpesa: is a mobile money app that enables one to send and receive money as well as make payments for various things such as shopping, paying for fuel and making purchases. Example: my daughter turned 18 and got an ID card this allows her to get an Mpesa account. I then taught her how Mpesa work by sending her some money, giving her some money to deposit in Mpesa and how to save money using Mshwari which is an off shoot of mpesa.
Mr D foods & Uber eats : these are apps that enable you to order food and have it delivered at your address
Google maps: help parents find information of locations of places and the distance to those places
use the App store on the phone to download exercise workouts that enable the family to exercise despite constrained environments
Basic digital literacy e.g how to send voice notes .
Takealot is an online shopping app where you create an account by entering your email address.. Once you have logged into the account you scroll through suggestions on what is available , check the price and click on the shopping cart icon and follow instruction to receive delivery options for your chosen product.
