Teachers-Whatsapp

Teachers can use whatsapp to communicate with their learners and their parents as this is the most accessible and is very much affordable. Teachers can use this app to share content with their learners. Teachers can also use the app to allow group work with learners by having group video call with their learners. Moreover, whatsapp can be used by teachers to communicate with their colleagues to share ideas

Use an interactive platform with fellow classmates (and teachers), they can also use it to have discussions on topics that they find difficult. Setting up a class WhatsApp group where information is shared about school work.

Learners/ Vodacom free online learning


Learners can use Vodacom free online learning this gives students an opportunity to carry on with school work at zero rated and accommodates those learners who do not have access to internet.

Teachers- Blackboard Learn

This can be used by teachers to post class material, to post a poll in order to get input. They can also set up timed quizzes for assessment purposes.

Teachers can use google classroom to share files with learners since face to face interaction is not allowed even assignment because google classroom can allow the teacher to grade students and give them feedback.

Parents-FNB

Parents can use the FNB App to do daily banking. To pay for school fees, water and electricity bills, phone bills etc. Parents can also be able to to apply for the COVID-19 relief fund if they are not receiving an income at the moment. To also apply for loans and overdrafts. Track spending and have a sort of financial advisor.
